It all began...
Growing up, cooking was always the unspoken language that connected us. Back then my mother's kitchen represented family, friends, safety, aromas, laughter, love and food at its best. I always hoped to do something different with my life, to escape the norm, yet to go back to a time, where the simple things held the greatest memories and pleasures. When I eat good food, I am reminded of my mother’s cooking, when I cook good food, I am reminded of my father's smile as he sat at the table and savored every finger licking moment of her curry. At Namaskara we continue to strive towards excellence, where every meal is made tasty, wholesome and affordable for curry lovers out there. Our pride lies in using only the freshest and most selected produce, good fats, roasted spices, and nuts so that every dish bursts with flavor.
Our heart lies in our kitchen and our passion lies in creating a community, where food will always be love.
Our nature is such, that the moment we meet someone. we make a judgment – “this is normal" but our judgment may be completely wrong because it's connected to our past experiences. Our ability to grasp people in a moment has been lost, in our perceptions of what we want people to be and often we lose that moment to connect with someone new. Namaskara. means to bow down or praise someone, without judgment. Our hands speak a language too. Some say, when we place our hands together, our likes and dislikes, cravings and aversions, are leveled out. There is a certain oneness to the expression of who you are. A crackle of energy, a boom of respect, cos you making an un-expected, yet beautiful offering to another person.
The light in me honours the light in you
